So I waited four months to write this. The broken rack is a great room. With sixteen 9' pool tables, two 8' pool tables, one 5' by 10' Billiard table, and one 12' snooker table They have a bar and full menu as well, pretty much encompassing everything you need for a perfect night. The staff is helpful and nice, and though they did lose my drivers license, they seemed sorry about it. At the time I was a little pissed off, so I didn't take any photos, but i'm now over it. I would definitely go back. The room is packed with frendly action of all levels, the house pro Eleanor Callado gives lessons, and there are weekly tournaments. It's got everything a real player could want in a pool hall. It's not the cheapest room in the country (like Beamers seems to be) but their prices are more than competitive and the equipment is nice. So if you find yourself trapped in Emeryville, California you should drop by, you won't be sorry.
